General Festival Information

The Middle Tennessee Highland Games & Celtic Festival is on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, 2025 in Sanders Ferry Park, Hendersonville, TN.

Yes, tickets are required for attendees age 6 and older. Ages 5 and under do not require a ticket. Tickets will be available in the summer, so check back then for more info.

Single Day GA tickets start at $20 for adults with Weekend Passes and VIP Passes available.
Ages 6-12 require a Child Pass. Ages 5 and under do not require a ticket.
We highly encourage festival attendees to pre-purchase all tickets to ensure a quick and smooth entry into the festival grounds.

Enter 513 Sanders Ferry Road into your navigation app of choice. Once you arrive at the park, follow the direction of posted signage to ensure you arrive at the right place. Parking attendants will be onsite to help.

Parking is located onsite adjacent to the festival. Please follow the directions of the parking attendants as well as posted signage.
Handicap accessible parking will be available. Check back soon for a festival map including all parking options.

Yes. We highly recommend using a rideshare as a safe and easy way to get to and from the festival.

Yes, this is a family friendly event and all are welcome to attend. Kids and youth activities are available onsite all weekend.

Yes, official festival merchandise is available for purchase at the festival Merchandise tent.

Yes, portable restrooms are available at the festival. Hand sanitizing stations are located inside each restroom. Handicap restrooms will be available, and all restrooms will be monitored.

No. Outside food and drink, as well as items such as grills, are prohibited. Water bottles are allowed.

Yes, there will be food vendors and the bars will be selling water, soda, and alcoholic beverages.

This festival is rain or shine. Any postponement or cancellation due to severe weather will be communicated via social media and email as necessary

Yes, friendly, leashed pets are welcome. Please be mindful of the weather when determining whether you should bring your pet to the event. Additionally, we ask that you clean up after your pet when nature calls.

No. Smoking is not allowed at any event as it may disturb others in attendance.

Lost & found items should be brought to the festival Information tent. Items will be held for 14 days following the event. Reach out to info@midtenngames.com regarding lost and found items

Tickets will be available to purchase online in the summer, and can be purchased at the gate if available. Check back in the summer for more info.

GA tickets offer access to the festival including:
Viewing of Heavy Scottish Athletic Events
Celtic Themed kids and family area
Vendor marketplace and local Food vendors
Themed bars with beer, wine and cocktails
All day entertainment on 3 stages
VIP tickets are available and include everything in the GA ticket, plus:
Access to the VIP and Patron Tent with a private viewing area for Athletic Events
Shaded seating area
Catered Lunch
Private cash bar for VIP and Patrons
Unlimited water
Collectible Festival Pin

Tickets are in limited quantities and have the ability to sell out. We highly encourage purchasing tickets prior to the event. Ticket prices will increase the week of the event.
If available, tickets will be sold at the gate. Please note if the festival is sold out tickets will not be available at the gate.

No. All sales are final and there will be no refunds. You may transfer your ticket to another attendee through the ticketing website or app.

Water, water, water. Unopened or empty refillable water bottles are encouraged.

Advertising, selling, or promoting any third party product (including, but not limited to, food and beverage items)

Kerosene lamps or open flames of any kind
Laser pointers
Drones
Noisemakers
Tents, stand umbrellas, and tarps
Weapons of any kind
Please be aware that all bags, backpacks, etc. will be subject to search upon entry into the festival. Prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be held for later pickup.
Security Measures

Middle Tennessee Highland Games works closely with local authorities to ensure the safest possible experience. You’ll notice uniformed and plain-clothed security throughout the event. They’re there to keep you safe, so don’t hesitate to ask them for help if you need immediate assistance.
Please review the allowed and prohibited items list for a stress-free entry process, and email info@midtenngames.com if you have questions. Prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be held for later pickup.
REMEMBER: You’re the eyes and ears of the festival. If you see something suspicious, say something.
How to get Help

If you or a friend needs emergency assistance at the festival, go to the medical tent located by the Information booth or look for security personnel, festival staff, or anyone with a radio to assist you. Staff will call 911 in the event of an emergency.

Our code of conduct is designed to ensure the festival is safe and accepting spaces for everyone and that everyone is treated with courtesy and respect.
